Thats funny, almost EXACTLY the same as Kyteland, except my PC was an Tandy 8088.

1989, 11 years old. My mom bought a packard bell 80286 4 MB RAM, 64 color monitor 200MB HDD MSDOS 4.x. The first game I played was jet fighter 2 that was a cool game. 🙂

i think it was around 1988, if it was i was 8 and learning dos 2.0 and gwbasic. god i hated gwbasic, tron wouldn't load and run sometimes.

almost forgot. it was on a leading edge 8088 with TWO 5 1/4 drives.

Late 80's. 8-9 years old. My father got our first computer, a 386 I believe. Soon upgraded to a 486 50 Mhz.

5 or 6, Apple IIc, with green monochrome monitor. When I was lucky, I got to hook it up to the TV and play games in color! 😀

arround 12, I overheard my dad telling one of his friends that he had a strip poker game on his compture. So, I had to lear DOS pretty quick and I became a pretty decent poker player as well.

I had an Atari Coleceo (sp?) that I used to bring to my cousins house all the time and we would play games on it. I used to play text adventures also. Hard to remember how old I was, elementary school and before?

I'd say I was around 5-6, my Dad had my godfather and another friend help him pick out and build a smokin Pentium 120, 16MB EDO RAM, 2GB hard drive, random video card, and he still ran Windows 3.1 on it, and didn't upgrade until we put a Diamond Viper V330 PCI in there. Ahh, the bliss of Wolfenstein 3D or Red Baron...

Dec 25th 1984.

Commodore 64, w/cassette drive (later upgraded to a 1541 floppy), using my 13" magnavox tv as a monitor. First game on it was Temple of Apshai.

Unless you count my Odyssey 2 I had 4 or 5 years before that.
