Traveling for work today and I had some extra time in Milwaukee. Took a bike ride around the lakefront and saw two different groups of people playing the same game in grassy areas.

The game seemed to have four players and numerous standing wood pillars about 18-24 inches high. Players seemed to be tossing another piece of wood at those wood pillars. Possibly trying to knock them down. (I was riding a bike so I didn't see much of the game.)

Never seen this in Cincinnati. Can anyone shine some light on what this may have been?

Midwest area, I would have assumed bean bag toss with a couple of kegs of Old Style involved.

You need to play some Kan-Jam, its a Western NY thing!
It's weird - I see people playing that all over the place, but almost no one in my circle of friends really gets into it. Besides, too much athleticism involved in knocking the frisbee in - you'll spill your beer. Ladder golf: beer in left hand. Washer: beer in left hand. Bocce: beer in left hand. Corn hole: beer in left hand. :p
