Interesting...

The only problem with legos is they fall apart too easily. One of the things I used to do with them is try and make a unbreakable car or spaceship. I never suceeded.

That's awesome! Now...did you glue all the lego pieces together? I'd do that as your next project if you didn't...make it so the thing won't fall apart if you need to ship it somewhere. Never thought someone would make an all-in-one Lego machine!

Thanks for the good words guys...and for the rest of you:

I dont understand why anyone would actually glue legos togeather. Dont you ever want to change anything? im probably gana build anotherone with out a monitor.

But legos dont fall apart. I dont know where you get this from...when you were 2 and didnt know how to construct somethign and make it sturdy and push it all the way togeather...but this thing is pritty damn sturdy. not a steal case sturdy but my cousan fell on the roof and not one piece moved...well the case slid a little...but no piece displacement.

more than anything... my concern is... the cost.

how much did it cost you to build all that?

from what i remember.... legos are not cheap.

but it looks cool.

Cool😎 Maybe I should do the same with my old Legos the next time I want a case? Right now I'm just gonna finish the plexi-case I'm working on though.

yea legos are expensive. No one in there right MIND would actoually do this based on cost.

For starters I had a medium size rubbermaid box full of them from when I was a kid. So I picked Red, which I had the most of. and that was a good deal..On top of that....I would say $250 in legos. 😀 Ahwell.

As for hardware.

100 for the mboard
75 for the cpu
everythign else I had here.

THe monitor was expensive when I bought it but who knows what it costs now adays.

All in all the system is probably jsut over a grand in parts for everything.

The guys from KDComputers donated the heatsink so that saved me $25 😀

I managed to make an almost unbreackable car... but when I dropped it off the roof, well, a peice actualy broke in half. Other than that, the wheels came off 3 or 4 times, but that's all... 😛

I always liked constructs better for building cars and what not...but for a case legos would work out better.

Mail back at ya.
