What Xbox(non 360) games do you recommend?

i just bought an xbox and only have halo 2. everyone who comes over plays it. what are some fun multiplayer games besides halo 2?

i've heard that fuzion frenzy is pretty good with all the mini-games.

but it is single player

the tony hawk games are all great with several different types of multi-player games.

Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. --Single Player

Me and My buddies always enjoy some Project Gotham 2, Footbal is pretty fun, Call of Duty 2 (IDK if this is on xbox..... If not #1 should be fun.)

If you can find it, Kung Fu Chaos is a pretty fun multiplayer beat'em up game. There are also the dungeon crawlers like Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance I & II, D&D Heroes, and X-Men Legends I & II.

Splinter Cell 3 Chaos Theory - has multiplayer and coop and is easily one of the best games ever for Xbox
Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood - has a cool squad based coop and MP campaign. Really fun.
Burnout 3 - Good arcade style racing game.

Fusion Frenzy is fun, its like a mini arcade in your house. Its worth the $10 you can get it for these days.

Outlaw golf is fun with some friends. And as a plus you can probably pick it up used for a couple bucks.

Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay

That was one of the few games I played non stop until I beat on the xbox.

Worth a try at the least even if you didn't like the movie.

i just got Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition and its pretty cool if you have some decent reflexes and like the rally car sort of games.

Between that and Halo 2 thats all i ever play

MC3e is the stupiest game, has horrible controls and just overal SUCKS! IMO

Ninja Gaiden is AMAZING! but hard as hell.
Fable if you like RPG's (warning though, it's surprisingly short for and RPG)
Doom 3 (unlike on PC you can co-op with someone else using a system link)
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2(both are great, 1 is better than 2 IMO)

I keep buying X-box games and keep failing to get around o playing them.
Ninja Gaiden ate my soul for weeks though. It has worked it's way to my top 5 games of all time. (Chrono Trigger is #1 baby!)

im stuck in ninja gaiden. sucks. i tried for ever to beat the one boss. couldnt do it. ugg. like chapter 7 or something. i dont remember. i just gave up on it. but i liked it.

Sounds like you are probably stuck on Alma. She is definitely one of the hardest bosses in the game, if not the hardest. Don't get discouraged tho, you're not even half way through the game! Now that is how games need to be made these days!

If it is indeed Alma, try this thread for some tips, or just hit up Gamefaqs.com. It's definitely worth it to play thru!


edit: Yeah get Fuzion Frenzy since its cheap and a ton of fun with 3-4 players. Kinda like a Mario Party game. Get some beers and friends and have a blast.

Any of the sports games on Xbox are way better IMO and almost always 2-4 player. Like Tiger Woods is pretty fun multiplayer.

Hmmm a couple great games listed here, but you should really try out Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance.
That is one of the best games of all time.
Metal Gear Solid is on the PS1, so I never played that before.
Fable: The Lost Chapters is a great game.
Ninja Gaiden is supposed to be good, but also extremely hard. I quit after the first boss as it was taking up quite a bit of my time.
Star Wars Knights of the old Republic both/all

Star Wars Republic Commando
All Splinter Cells
Jade Empire (made by the same people who made Knights of the old Republic)
All Ghost Recons. The new one is kinda disappointing.
These are not good multiplayer games though. Almost all are superb single player games.
