I found a few on NewEgg. Anandtech seems to like the Sapphire, but it looks like the memory on this one is a little slower. What should be my deciding factors on which 1950XTX card to get? Are any of the companies bad, or others particularly good?

ATI or Saphire. Choose the lowest price between the two. HIS makes one also. Not sure how good it is.

As far as I know, all the hardware on the X1950XTX's is the same so you should buy based on the warranty & price... I believe Powercolor still offers a lifetime warranty & decent RMA support on their cards so if the price is close that would be my first choice... otherwise buy the cheapest one you can find.

Just wait.. only 14 days left before NVIDIA Launch G80 and its a hard launch... X1950XTX would go for below $300 to even $200 and then they would be worth buying but if G80 don't see a huge performance increase in current games until DX10 games start to come out because of it using the Unified shaders. But if 8800GTS is about $399 then I would buy that if it can have a %30 performance increase over X1950XTX.

Optimistic on the price there, arn't we?

As we all know, regardless of the manufacturer, new high end cards can be sold at stupid prices, nothing snensible like $400 =P

If you can wait it may be worth it. Of course we dont know how the G80 supply is going to be. nVidia says its going to be good but they always say that.

this not just aobut supply. every new tech no matter how much in supply is overpriced in the begining. waiting a few weeks can result in ridiculous savings.
