What X is the Pioneer 305S SCSI DVD Rom Drive?

Is this a new 16x? If this is, I'm definately gonna buy it. It wasn't on the spec sheet at the Pioneer website, so I'm assuming it's a new version of the 16x series?

Yup, its a 10X. The 3 designates SCSI instead of 1 for IDE and the five is the generation. Although the 105S is a 16X IDE and the 305S is a 10X SCSI. Kind of weird that the fifth generation SCSI is the same transfer rate as the fourth generation SCSI, 304S.

Sundog or should I say the page that was linked is incorrect as the DVD-U05 is the retail version of the 305s.
