What would your salary be...???

I'm curious...! The job listed below is adver'ed @ $40,000yr. For what looks to me like 3, maybe 4 jobs..... I fully understand that in these 'difficult' times we must buck up and multi-task. But for 40 grand a year I'd be thinking "Please, take advantage of me some more!"
Just curious of opinions out there.............. thx.

i'm an entry level civil engineer, worked at my company for a little over a year , even since i graduated. they pay me $22 an hour, thats about $45k salary for me...i'd say thats decent for a new grad like myself.

It does look like 3 jobs, but the salary is not too bad for any one of those jobs (probably a bit high for the help desk part). So IF they really only have 1/3 time work for each of the jobs they're only underpaying a lttle. If they expect 50+ hour work weeks they're underpaying a lot.

Do you know how much time each task will take? I mean if it is a fairly small company those 4 jobs might take the same amount of effort as one of them at a large company.

Some companies are now pretty cheap, that's how they think nowaday. Since IT guys would generally sit around, they try to pile on works, but when the shiet hits the fan, one guy can't do it all. From the job requirements, it sounded like the company that I was previously working for was trying to hire a replacement (but it's not). That's what I did (may be not to that extend) but my previous job had me do everything that you mentioned, including customer service (a.k.a answering customer support calls), and I was the only one.

Appreciate the comments... I'm going to try and get in and speak with them. Will keep you posted. To be certain they may only need one person.... but, once you start talking web design/development/e-commerce you're talking bigger than a bread box. I just hate getting into a situation where you have to wear too many hats, thus performance of any one thing suffers.
