What would you use to buff a clearcoat case?

I've got an Enermax cs-989al-05 case...

My Case

The clearcoat is very nice, and all, but does pick up every handling mark.

Anybody have any thoughts as to cleaning... just Windex or go the Meguiar's car polish route?

Anyway... its a nice case...

Are you sure there's a clear coat? I thought those were pure anodized aluminum cases with a clear plastic front bezel. In any case, you'll want to use 3M Show Car Finish Polish. Windex will wreck havoc on clear coats (the kind you apply yourself), as it contains ammonia.

The inside of the side panels are just anodized AL, but the outside is clearcoated. You can tell the difference in a big way.

Thanks for the recommendation on the 3M stuff...

Use Meguiars No. 7 Showcar Glaze to polish the case and get rid of fingerprints, etc. Use either the Meguiars No. 26 Hi Tech Yellow Wax or better yet the Meguiars No. 20 Polymer Sealant to wax the case and protect from handling marks. I regularly use either the Meguiars No. 26 Hi Tech Yellow Wax or Meguiars No. 20 Polymer Sealant on the countertops and the wall ceramic in the house (per the laminate and ceramic tile manufacturers recommendation), and the Meguiars No. 7 Showcar Glaze on the whirlpool tub (again, per the manuafacturers recommendation). That's besides detailing my cars with them.

You won't go wrong with those products and they should help keep that case looking great for a long time.
