What would you think of bulding this system?

I have to build a system for my sister. The main considerations for her system are, in order, price/stability/cost. So this is the system I am thinking about. Comments about these choices are welcome.

Following Anandtech Mid Range System;

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.0C 800MHz FSB (512K L2 cache) Northwood ($157)
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=19-116-157&depa=1

Motherboard: ASUS P4P800 Deluxe (865PE chipset) ($94.00)
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-131-484&depa=1

Memory: 2 X 256MB OCZ PC3200 EL (Enhanced Latency) CAS2.0 ($128.00)
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-146-895&depa=1

Case:Antec SLK2650-BQE Mid Tower ($71.00)
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-129-148&depa=1

All the rest of the system taken from her old system. As they do not play games, current video card will do fine.

Suggestions and comments welcome.

Isn't price and cost the same thing? 😕

What will she be doing with this PC? You might be going overboard with the processor. If she's just going to be websurfing and chatting, go for a 2.6C/2.8C and save a bit of cash.

If she is crusing the internet only a Barton 2500 at stock is fine ! If she protests, tell her to buy a Dell, and call them when she has a problem.
