A spinoff of my other thread, I'm wondering what you would be willing to pay for the following car.

2001 Hyundai Tiburon
2.0L 4 Cylinder
4 SPD Automatic Transmission
Air Conditioning
Leather Interior
Power Sunroof
15" Alloy Wheels
Spoiler
Power Everything
Perfect Condition
10K Miles
40K Miles of bumper to bumper warranty remaining.
90K Miles of powertrain warranty remaining.

Hyunadai cars aren't the greatest. I personally wouldn't buy one, but my mom has one and she's never had a problem with it. knock on wood.

My friend had a 99 or 2000 Tiburon and the thermostat went out 3 times in one year. He then totalled the car in 55mph head on crash on the freeway with a stopped vehicle. He walked away from the accident so at least it has good saftey.

If Jesus came down and wiped all the hondas and nissans and toyotas from the face of the earth, what would you pay for this car?

about $8k. That's the ugly body style, small engine, and auto transmission (a big minus in my book). Kelley Blue Book (kelleybluebook.com) has it around $13k.

This car is extra clean. It also maintains the original warranty which I'm sure blackbook value doesn't account for.

automatic....... what is that? No really I will not buy an automatic car, once that happens your are just telling the car where to go, you have lost much control over the engine plus it is boring.

I still wouldn't buy it. It's a slow, ugly car, made by a manufacturer with little history, and it has no aftermarket or enthusiast community around it.

Hyundai Tuner.com

There is SOME aftermarket, but I don't really care about speed. I just want a nice looking car that has decent quality. Hyundai has DECENT quality now, and the warranty is great.

Slow? 0-60 in 8 seconds, not that great, but there are worse cars out there.

Ugly? I simply don't agree.

zeborgcollective, i don't want to rain on your parade too much... but i just wouldn't want to be seen in a hyundai. and i drive an 87 civic hatchback that takes 5 minutes to warm up every morning.
