the cheap 20$ case w/ 300watt powersupply from newegg.

and

a chaintech 7nif2 mini-atx nforce 2 mobo w/ IGP.

What should i include? i cant do comparisons, other than the case, with a koolance case, i dont have a way to measure case temps, or noise. what benchmarks should i run for you guys?

it will be thorough enough for the avg. user to understand, but with enough depth to keep the enthuasiast contempt.

Hmmm... Without comparisons or noise and temp data it will be difficult to get an accurate review.

A couple of recommendations: That board has a pair of thermometers, right? That can be accessed by software? If so, d/l something to get temp readings under load. Also get your hands on a digital thermometer (might be able to rent one somewhere) to compare readings.

Stick a mic in the case with all the fans on and capture a .WAV file. Do the same with the mic out of the case.

PICS PICS PICS!

Run as many benchmarks as you can: Games, Sandra, etc...

ok, first i should say that the case comes with no fans, so i bought those cheap 1.99 UV ractant case fans at SVC, 2 of them, so a noise data wouldnt really be useful, cuz the Y.S. tech fan i have in their is the noisiest fan i have ever had, and it is for the H/S.

i could compare the benchmarks with a 2.6 P4, with 712mb pc2700. the rig, is using a 1700+ althon, and only 256mb pc2100 memory.
but dont know how fair that would be.

the case review will be easy.
Mobo review i am running into problems, cuz i cant get pcmark2k2 to work, it errors on the third test. Also idont have broadband so i cant easily download the other software. Although i could get sandra.

The case review should be useful, as it actually isnt that bad of a case for the money, some downfalls, but not bad at all overall.

With the case I'd like to know how many times it got blood from you or if it has nice kid friendly edges. How much room is inside, how light/heavy it is. Is the construction poor or good quailty and how well the PS works out.
