What would you have liked to see in Rune?

I love this game (just playing the demo, but I will buy it)

here are some things I would have loved to see...

different types of weapons ie
morning star, halberd, pike, flail

ranges weapons
bows, crossbows, darts, throwing knives

mounts
horses or something mythical

siege warfare, wouldn't it be cool to see catapults! Maybe the norse theme isn't good for that but if they ever do a more medievil (sp?) theme it would work. Just imagine seeing a giant flaming rock come towards you. Now that I think about it, would this make a cool stand alone game? The game could be called 'Castle Siege' or 'Siege Warfare' and it is strictly for teams. One side defends the other attacks. hmmmm

slight digression there.
I would have liked to see armour as well.

what are your thoughts?

have you played vampire the masquerade? this is pretty much the same thing, except you chop up the enemy in 3rd person view, the graphics are nice, but just like vampire the masquerade, it got a low overall rating due to it's repetitious gameplay. I beat this game in less than 2 days playing it probably 25-30hrs total. I just break everything I thought could break, like rocks & walls, climb all over & jumped everywhere. You only get 4 weapons, sword, mace, axe & hammer, these 4 weapons just get bigger & look different as you go further, there are no long ranged weapons, you fight the boss just like normal enemies, except they are a little more powerful, but not by much, & the ending is not a good one, there's no movie of any kind in this game. I would rate it as a adverage game that you would not play over right away after you have passed it.

That's what I am beginning to notice with the demo... it's getting very repitive but my first impression was that it was good, but now I realise it could have been so much more.

Don't you think the idea of a siege game is good, or would that get repitious as well? I wouldn't be because people would eventually use a lvl editor to design their own strongholds and try to defend them.
