Ok, so today I recieved a hardwired ipod control from crutchfield (was $100) that connects to my CD changer control on my factory stereo. The control lets me semi-control the ipod from the stereo. I'm about to finish installing it and I need some opinions. The control lets me set the ipod to function in two modes:

1. Playlist only mode removes me from being able to control the ipod on the ipod itself. However, I can have 5 playlists that are selectable via the stero disc selection. So disc 1 is playlist 1, disc 2 is playlist 2, etc... This is great except I can't browse my music by artist/album,etc...

2. ipod control mode gives me full control of the ipod but I can't switch playlists by pushing the disc numbers on the CD changer.

In both modes, I can turn on shuffle via the cd changer controls, skip tracks, fast forward tracks.

So which mode would you guys do?
