What would you give for the 2001 M3?

I just read Motortrend's and Car & Driver's review of this fabulous car and at this point seriously considering selling one of my kidneys to get my hands on one. I had a chat with a BMW salesman the other day and he expects the out-the-door price for the new M3 to be ~$55k, but even then it seems like a bargain. What other car combines such performance, handling, class, and good looks?
