What would you get?

Hey Guys....

I can get a Corsair 700D and a Corsair 750W PS or a Cooler Master ATCS 840 and a 750W PS for the same price (after a rebate on the Corsair Combo).

Which would you get and why....

I own both cases (well, sort of. I own the 800D)

Let's see:

Corsair: Great wire management. Looks great and clean. Heavy.

CoolerMaster: No wire management. Has removable motherboard tray. Lighter. Has two PSU mounts.

Both are airfiltered and have mounting for a 3x120 radiator on top. The ATCS has greater airflow overall, but is lighter. The Corsair is built like a tank.

I have an EATX motherboard in my Cooler Master. Inside, the wires are a kinda a mess, but I zip tied them the best I could. There are some cracks where dust makes it in since it has a negative pressure airflow. There's so much space, I'm pretty sure you could fit the longest video card in there and have a little space. The front filter is easy to pop out behind the front bezel, but the other bottom filter and PSU filter are more difficult. If you put in the bottom mid fan, you can't remove the PSU filter.

Inside my Corsair is my gaming rig, watercooled. It's heavy. Wire management was easy. The filter on my 800D was a very low-mesh wire screen. Doesn't catch too much. It's on the bottom and pulls out the back pretty far, so if you put it up against the wall, don't expect to clean your filter very much.

Which one do I like better? It's a tough call. I'd just say, go whichever you like the looks of better, and just think about what I listed.

Personally I like the Corsair 750W PSU (TX or HX), but what's the PSU with the Cooler Master? A CoolerMaster or Corsair PSU?

I'd go with the Corsair strictly for its psu.

The ATCS might be better for air flow..

the 800/700D had water as a upgrade path in design.

If your gonna watercool in the future, no doubt, grab the corsair.
The case was designed for water straight up.
I am waiting to get one... as i would love to dress one up in full water to show you guys what its truly capable of.

If your never going to touch water, the ATCS might offer better air cooling options.
The corsair 700D would need to get kinda noisey to match the internal flow of a ATCS.

However the Corsair PSU's i would rank better then CM's PSU's.

I am planning to try out the H50 on the 700d

The H50 isn't true liquid cooling. It's a self-contained unit that can be used nearly as easily as an air cooler, and doesn't limit your case selection. Don't get the Corsair with the thought that it'll allow you to use the H50 more easily or with better results. If you're going with real liquid cooling (a $200-300+ self-built kit), on the other hand, get the 700D without thinking twice.

Both cases are excellent, but the 750w Corsair PSU is guaranteed to be better than a 750w CoolerMaster PSU.

I plan to start with the H50 and plan to upgrade later. BTW...like the car in your sig.

Nothing beats the 800d/700d wire management.
