You aren't missing anything. A friend of mine picked up a 6 pack and brought it over one evening to hang out (this was years ago when Zima first came out) and we both took one sip and tossed the rest. Never had one since. I'd rather drink light beer.

Bit like Sprite. Easy to chug, so I used to just drink three or four in fifteen minutes then I'd have a decent buzz.

Zima isn't non-alcoholic. It has approximately the same amount of alcohol as an average American lager.

Pretty sure all the Zima I've seen is right around 5% ABV.
 
They still sell Zima? wow. I remember when that stuff first came out, it is awful. The big thing back in the day was to drop a Jolly Rancher into one, supposed to make it taste good.
