What would you do?

With the rig in my sig, would you get an SLI Motherboard and another 7800gt or would you get an Opteron 170?

depends on the application, though a opty 170 is a good choice...

To be honest with you...I'd sell 7800GT for $200, take those $300 you were gonna spend on SLI + 7800GT OR that dual opty and get R580 for $499. Your cpu is fast enough for gaming. Unless you multitask, graphics card will give you more benefit for games.

If you take your time, get all the info possible about the buyer, you should have no problems at all. But don't get suckered in the "noobs ship first" thing unless you are comfortable. I personally shipped first on 2 items. And it can be scary for a first time seller, Karaktu was VERY helpful for my worries. If you are lucky enough to deal with someone like that, count yourself blessed.

I guess I will wait and see. My 7800gt is holding up pretty well, but I just wanted a little more. To be honest 3500winny is constantly giving me problems. Each time I try and overclock it some more, It wont go higher and then I end up having to clock it less than what the original overclock was. Its a dud with overclocking.

Maybe I look in the FS section and see how its done.
