Can you really call a 12 inch shrimp a shrimp? Isn't it kinda large to a 'shrimp'?

Now you need some equally large crabs so that you can stuff the shrimp tail with crap meat. MMMmmmmm, love me some stuffed prawns.

Shrimp - (the animal/food) - The name comes from the fact that they curl up. The word shrimp is derived from words meaning to contract/wrinkle/shrivel up.

Shrimp - (the adjective) - means small.

So a large or jumbo shrimp is not an oxymoron.
