I been saveing my money for something now...and i'll really been wanting for the GB and the 1.8 C1 stepping, but i would really like a new system soon. so I was think about buying

1. ABIT IT7 MAX2 ver.2.0 + 1.8
or
2. ASUS P4B533 + 1.8
or
3. keep waiting for the GB and the 1.8 C1

If I buy a mobo right now i can always upgade the chip to the C1 stepping but the i miss out on the GB mobos....is the GB worth wanting for? because if i have to wait for the mobo that i'll keep waiting for the 1.8 C1 stepping too, What do you guys think?
oh and is the Abit IT7 MAX2 ver.2.0 any good...I have read alot of good things about it but have anyone use it

Just wait a week or so for the reviews of GB. Then you won't be wishing you've gotton a GB board.

Jose

go check out Thugsrook thread over at Motherboard forum 😛

I'll have been checking it out...good reading but as far as ABIT mobo i have hear more about the ABIT IT7 MAX2 then the Abit BE7-R

Wait...it is so close to something that is a bit more revolutionary then say when the 845PE and GE chipsets came out,...You amy actually hate yourself if you miss this one....

Imagine memory bandwidth with 2 pc2100 sticks at default you can barely hit even if you oc memory to 440mhz +....

1.8 c1 or the even lower multiplier of the 2.26ghz and go for the allusive 200fsb!!!

Hmm....I'll think i'll wait...(17 Vs 6 and 4) but if i ever wake up at midnight with my matercard in hand I'll get the ABIT IT7 MAX2 ver.2.0 + 1.8Ghz 🙂 not that, that would ever happen...
