A few days ago this guy dropped by my house asking for my wife. He was wanting her contact information and wanted me to give her his email address. So, I gave him an old email address of hers that I can access.

He seemed a little strange and he was really fixated on "getting in touch" with my wife. I took a picture of his license plate and the make and model of his car when he left. I briefly mentioned his name to my wife (but I didn't tell her he stopped by) and she says she has no idea who he is. When she asked me why I was curious if she knew him, I just told her he was a local guy selling insurance who said he grew up in the area.

I don't want to worry my wife about this guy. But, he seems pretty persistent as he emailed the old email account already. Here is the email:

Dear (My Wife),

Hey, how have you been? I'm (stranger), Do you remember me? I heard your whole family died in a car accident a few years back. I went to their graves and planted flowers. It's pretty nice there, I stayed awhile and had a picnic near your little sister.

I've missed you quite a bit the last 15 years and really wanted to get in touch but I never knew how. So, I hope you get this email soon and want to go have a picnic out in the woods sometime soon. I was thinking about how cute you were in those gymnastic outfits when you were in the "Little Stars" gymnastic program. Do you still talk to Chelsea and Ashley from the team? I'd like to get in touch with them too.

Until we meet again,

(Stranger)

What would you guys do? Think I should tell my wife and let her worry? Think I should call the cops?

Any advice is appreciated!

Are you serious? Forward email to the FBI immediately, he's gonna murder your whole family and eat your livers.

Divorce, from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

She's probably been cheating on you this whole time. Was your car at the shop or out of the driveway by any chance?

I wasn't sure of gender. So, I went with Internet Rule #1 Assume everyone is a guy until proven otherwise.

-1000/10. Your parody was terrible, and getting the gender wrong made it absolutely hopeless.

I tried.. I think it would've worked if it was a guy and a creepy member. Oh, well... I'll even give myself negative points on that one.

QFT, and wasn't the OP of the thread this is parodying a female anyway?

edit: bah, seems most people have already noted this.
