Someone made a blatant pass at your girlfriend/boyfriend? Not just "would you like to go out?" or something similar; I understand that that may happen when you or your SO are alone, and it doesn't bother me, so long as they don't follow through . But some guy asked my girlfriend and she told him no, she already had a boyfriend....at which point he tried to kiss her. :disgust: To her credit, she simply stormed off rather than going ballistic. Hearing the story ticked me off (at him); I don't know what I would've done had I actually been there. Hopefully it never would have happened, had that been the case. How about you?

Confront him and let him know that you don't appreciate what he tried to do, and neither does she. Doesn't necessarily have to resort to a beating....although it would probably make you feel better.

lol guys...looks like we all think alike. She said she felt like slapping him one, and I said she should've. I told her I would have given him a shot to the family jewels if I'd been there. But I like to at least think I have a little self control, so I'd probably just dress him down verbally first; if he does it again, then I'll beat the snot out of him. And I think I'll let her help (oooh, she was pissed...). Problem is that I don't know who it was. Somebody in one of her classes; not anybody she knew that well.

I did too give her credit. "Beat the bum" was simply my gut reaction; apparently it was hers as well. And yet she chose to walk away. And after a few seconds, I thought it would be better to talk to him first, as well. I think she handled herself perfectly.

I would say to beat the living snot out of him but even if you are under 18 all it takes is one punch, they fall to the ground dead, what exactly do you plan to do?
I know it's not very likely to happen but is it really worth it to throw away your life or get a rap sheet because of a loser who's going to get their's anyhow through Karma?

Don't even start on the liability issue and the possiblity of being sued.

My comment wasn't directed so much to you as to the other guys suggesting you beat his ass. I think you and your girlfriend handled the situation just fine. I'd be pissed, too, but to find some guy and beat his ass because he likes my girlfriend is just silly. He was out of line, but he's probably got the point now. For all we know, he could've just been completely wasted and didn't know what the hell he was doing.
