there is a scene in Full Metal Jacket....involving a pillowcase and a bar of soap.

One night ask him if he is planning on leaving or when will he contribute to costs of staying there. As you are talking load the pillowcase and do a couple dry runs on the couch.

I'm still playing like I don't mind this guy but my wife is really getting irritated with her cousin. I'm praying she passes this guy on to her mom. Now my wife thinks I'm being the nice guy while she can't stand this person. Hahahahhh

I to live in San Diego, if I were a betting person I'd say you were in the Navy? Anyway it seems simple, why not charge him rent, not full price for san diego, but lets say half. I bet after a bit he would move to anothe location and not try to take you for a free ride.

Hey
Where in SD are you? I'm actually an Engineer. Don't think I could hang in the military. I have friends and family that are in the Navy and Army though

hahahah :D

if he's a nice guy and he's good company, just ask him to do chores around the house instead of paying rent. he can do the dishes, clean the bathrooms, babysit the kids, etc. You can then pay him some a weekly allowance too. this will give you and your wife time to go out ;)

I hate my girlfriends cousin... so if she asked to stay for even a night I would say no.

it depends on many factors.

1. Do I have a spare bedroom?
2. Is he helping out around the house?
3. Is he a financial burden?
4. Do you get along well?

If there's a spare bedroom, and he takes care of himself and isn't putting any type of financial strain on you, and if you get along well, then I can't think of a reason not to let them stick around.
