What would you do if you were put into this situation?

Yesterday I put my Athy 550 at 800 1.8V 1/3 cache up for trade yesterday. It took awhile for people to put up offers, but finally someone offered me a 2x2x8 CD-RW drive. All seemed dandy, and I told him I would ship it today. Well this morning he e-mailed me asking me if I was still going to take part in the cross ship. Well I gave him a reply back saying all was set, not checking the other e-mails in my boxes. As I scrolled down, I came across, 24x4x2 CD-RW for your Athlon 550@800. D'OH!

So I e-mailed the incredibly nice fellow back, and he replied that he is interested in the Athlon still, but would understand if I backed out. He's a really nice guy, and I just don't know what to do? Take the slower CD-R, and deal with a really nice guy or take the faster CD-R.

I guess it depends how sutck on speed you are,, if you really want the speed I guess you just have to deal.

I say stick with the deal you've already agreed to. Consider it like you've already shipped the Athlon, & you don't even have the OPTION of backing out now.

Besides, if you decide you just have to have a faster CDR drive, you can always sell the one & put the cash towards another.

Well...I've stuck to my guns, and my Athy went to Edblor of Canada. First time I've ever had to ship Global. See...I really am a good trader...I even honor foreign deals!

Sigh...how come the good deals always come AFTER I've committed...just like girls...you get the more enticing ones when you're not single.
