what would you do if you needed 20k in 1 month?

Was at a local coffee shop and heard some kids conspiring on what they could do to get something like 20k in about a month....that go me thinking...what would i do?...

i'd prolly let someone rearend me..but i don't think that'll get me 20k

you?
 
I would borrow the money or pull it out of one of my 401K's. No problem. I could also get a cash advance from one or more of my credit cards.

Haha, I saw that thread right after it got locked. But, I guess the mods must continue in their mission to leave the overweight women of ATOT unsatisfied. Oh well.
 
The logical answers...

1. Get a personal loan from my bank.

2. Get a mortgage.

...and the not-so...

1. Sell 20 hot $1000 items (that you don't actually have) on EBay under a 1 day sale. Worry about coming up with the stuff next month. 😛

2. Sell all of your personal possessions at a yard sale and go to Vegas. Bet everything on a 50:50 table. (Sound familiar?)

i hear guys can make an easy 250000 if youre ok with having one, 500000 for the pair, though it might be kinda empty down there afterwords...
 
head over to san francisco, find a nice street corner to call my own, and do a lot of bending over.

either that or start an internet company and go IPO. wait, this is 1999, right?
