Mutual Assured Destruction or what ever it is called will keep this from ever happening. I'm pretty sure we don't keep the nuclear airplanes in the air 24/7 anymore.
 
I'd take like 5 ambien and sleep through the whole thing. If I wake up, that's cool, if not then that's cool too.

I figure nobody would waste a nuke on rural missouri. I'd head south, towards houston at first. If I hear anywhere survived the apocalypse I'd head there.
 
I'd go get the wife/kids/dog/cat and bring them to work. I'd then drop the machine to restricted access and take the family down into the tunnel where we'd be relatively safe (not a direct hit).
 
Sit in the middle of the street with my bong and a big sign that says the world is coming to an end.
