What would you do here?

A few days ago at I was walking to the other building at my job. This is in trenton and if anyone knows trenton, it is ghetto and sucks.

So anyway these two ~ten year old kids walk by me and a minute or so later a big rock lands right next to my feet... one of the kids chucked it from 50 feet away or something. I turned around to look and they are still walking but I faintly heard one of them yell wtf are you lookin at or something like that.

What if that rock hit me in the head? What am I supposed to do if two little kids in the ghetto injure me? Its not like I can run and stop them and bring them to their parents... I'd prob get laughed at, robbed, and then shot, in no particular order.

Call the cops and hold the kids there until they arrive? Would still get shot by anyone that walked by and saw me interacting with two young kids.

I'm a 23 year old white guy... it isn't racist for me to say I'm not welcomed and do not belong in the area outside of my building. there have been multiple shootings and swat team raids in apartments around here and there is a clothing store called the "Shop 4 Ballers" down the street.

Open or Concealed carry, and possibly carry yourself a bit differently as you walk. If they asked me what was I looking at, I'd stop right there, stare them down and not move until they walked out of sight.

If your company is big enough and has a security department, complain and see if they can lock down the campus a bit better.

I would have flipped the finger and come up with some snide remark about their families level of income. Something similar happened to my mom a few years ago, except the rock weighed about 10lbs and hit the side of her tahoe. She literally chased them down lol.
