anything over 15'x15' is huge. Around 12'x12' is normal. anything less than 10'x10' is small/kids/guest room.

That said...you really get around.

How big are those rooms?

The Meyer Werft rooms are measured in km! :Q Ships well over 3 football fields long are built in them and usually one can be ready for float out while another keel is being laid.

RE VAB - I was supposed to get a tour inside that place but some technical snafu screwed that all up. :(

Try having 3 people in an 11'x10' room. That was my freshman year of college.

I don't remember exact dimensions...but IIRC they had four partially assembled A-320s in there, with space for more, and we were standing WELL above them.

I checked out the satellite image...looks like they're about the same size, but your shipyard is slightly bigger, so I guess I'm not remembering it right.

11x13 is big by NYC or SF real estate sizes... and is absolutely HUGE by Japanese standards.

In rural Connecticut, though, we often have closets that are bigger than that :)

My current bedroom is 12x15, and I really don't think that I could survive in anything smaller... I spend a ton of time in my bedroom, so I need it to have just about everything in it short of a bathroom and kitchen. ;)
