I spend huge swaths of my "off" time doing freelance computer repair, maintenance, networking and traning for people on an individual level. However I'm just breaking into the "small business" class of the same jobs. I recently did the following for a group of realtors that was opening a new office:

Setup and Networked 4 off-the-shelf computers
Built and setup server (Win2k)
Aranged for and setup DSL connection and Router (cabled into already-in-place patch panel)
Mapped shared folders, folders for common files and documents folders for ~10 people from each computer (all running XP Home) to server
Arragned for domain registration and web hosting
Setup email accounts (for ~10 people)
Setup phpgroupware (for ~10 people) (Hero for finding solution cheaper than Exchange ;))
Did some basic training on phpgroupware for ~5 people
Basic training of using Ghost to backup server
Provided documentation of what I had done

So, not counting the cost of any parts or hosting fees and taking into account that this is in the Midwest and I have no letters after my name (not MCSE, A+ etc.) , what kind of price would you charge?

Peace,
will

I think $50/hour would be a bit low for what you did. Did you not arrange a fee with them before you did the job?
