BenQ FP731 - LCD Monitor - 17" Black

or something else? Don't want to spend over $300 for a 17" LCD. Wouldn't mind having a 19" LCD, but wouldn't want to spend more than ~$400 on that.

BTW, I will be gaming on this computer quite a bit, lots of FPS so ghosting is a big worry to me.

Looks like both connect via 15 pin DSUB connection, which is BLEH on LCD monitors. Why not save up some more and get a nice 19" or 20" Dell with a DVI connector? I love my 1801FP although I grant it's outside what seems to be your range. Failing all else I'd probably go with the compgeeks with the lower response time and the chassis seems to ring a bell with me. Looks almost like a Planar or a Hitachi.

I have an envision with a 25ms response, I have never really felt that there is ghosting in my games...I't is definitely worth the price jump for the 19" though.

I just got the BENQ FP731, and its a great monitor! Very crisp image, and the 25ms response is no problem. Tried CoD and CS on it now, and could not see any ghosting.
BENQ got my vote!
