What would remove superglue off the lens of a pair of glasses?

Acetone or nail polish remover. It might also remove any coatings from the lens as well.

i hear sulfuric acid does the job ;):p

when i saw the avatar...i was hoping it was syringer

for his glasses, it would have been spider bukkake ;)

and if you dont have nail polish remover handy?

a 90/10 mixture of Nitromethane and Toluene is also supposed to work. Gasoline and rubbing alcohol won't. Not sure about methyl ethyl ketone, but you could try that if you wanted. Might be hard on the lenses if they're made of anything other than glass.

You are right about rubbing alcohol not working. Guess nail polish remover is an effective way to hit on a girl tomorrow. :p

they have a citrus based one now too instead of xodide which might strip a coating.

It is fine to use on glass, but plastic is a no no, because MEK is use to melt/clean/bond ABS & PVC plastic.
