I've always wondered why I never see the hobbyists on TV ever take their huge model rockets and strap a person in them...

I really think that that would be the ultimate rush... just taking a rocket ride a mile up and bailing out at its climax or something. I'm wondering what it would take to achieve that kind of one-time trick with 3rd world level saftey standards...

Edit: This is a weak attempt to have an intelligent thread penetratet the fog of fat people threads that chases the depressing divorce threads
