I met this hot chick - happens from time to time, but there's no way I'm going to do anything. Mainly because I'm broke and tired, but it got me wondering

What would it take to make you actually do it? Ultra hot body/promise of wild acrobatic sex? Opportunity (wifey is out of town, or you are)? Alcohol?

Just curious.

In my world, cheating on my wife would mean I'm done with the relationship. It isn't worth the risk of losing her nor is it worth the guilt I would bear if I were to get away with it. The mere fact that I would consider cheating would be cause to take a serious look at why I'm in the relationship to begin with.

I have had plenty of opportunity, and offers - anyone who travels for business could do it easily - but there is nothing that would ever get me to cheat. I have seen too many families ruined.

What I really struggle to understand is the person who, when out of town, goes to the hotel bar, gets drunk, chats up some lonely person who happens to be there, has a few more drinks and so does the other person, maybe dances a little, they both are flirtatious, and they end up in bed. Then the person insists "it just happened!" Sorry, I'm not buying that.
