A lot of money! A wise man said money won't buy you happiness, but it will buy you the kind of misery you can really enjoy!!

Cynic answer: A few minor neurochemical tweaks. More useful answer: Were I able to maintain the best parts of being a student on a consistent basis, I would probably be as close to happy as I can imagine being. Excellent conversation, Great books, Hard questions. A quiet, comfortable, independent life; but with good friends and a loved one close by. The occasional nice meal out, good puns, libraries, &c.

In practice, of course, I'm not too good at keeping this up for arbitrary periods without the downsides interfering, and it isn't going to get any easier once I need to enter the real world; but as a purely hypothetical situation, that is probably it.

Continue success in anything I do.
I really hate the feeling of failure.

Omnipotence.

Although a few billion dollars and a small country with me as dictator would be a nice start.

I'm already pretty happy. I don't want for anything (other than meaningless trinkets and such).

I've come to the conclusion that no amount of external influence can make me truely happy in life. It's all about whether I choose to be happy or not.

I choose to be happy. :)

I have two main problems in my life that I would love to be fixed, the rest I can take care of:
(1) Money (I can take care of this of course, but having a sh!tload right now would help)
(2) Stop my gf from trying to move to NZ with her Mom & sis (or in the same turn just stop her Mom & sis from moving ;))

Crab is more than qualified to tell you that you'll miss it when it's gone.

 for Crab. Helluva guy. His struggle is inspirational.

Being able to make a living writing, travelling and taking photographs with my wife at my side. Oh yeah, and for true happiness, I must break par! :)

Having my kids grow up strong enough to take care of themselves in this crazy world. They are my focus now.
