Move video from a VCR to my hard drive?

I already have a tv tuner, and I plan on buying a dvd writer soon, if that helps.
 
if you gfx card supports vivo(video in /video out) you should have all that you need(i think) if you dont have the capture software youll need that check out google,and i know pinnacle makes the divse and soft ware to do it .it's time for you to do some research
 
You would need software that lets you record it, and depending on what kind of tapes you are copying to the hard drive, some VHS movies had copy protection.
