What would hurt more, your ego or your face?

I'm walkin along the Embarcadero yesterday on my way to the Giants game with a bud, and usually, there are lots of people running, jogging, biking on the embarcadero.

Well, this one girl was running along with her headphones on (yeah i checked her out ) I look away then look back, and see her biff it bad. She must've stepped into a hole and completely ate it. I mean a good 2 feet of skidding. I looked at my friend and tried hard not to laugh then checked her out, asked if she was ok. She just layed down there for a lil bit, probably from the embarrassment. She said she was fine and continued running.

I have no ego. That must have smarted for her. I remember once I was ice skating with some friends and this one girl caught an edge and just went right down on the ice, so hard she bounced a few times. I bet she had bruises for weeks from that. Of course I had to help her up and offer sympathy.

Do you usually find it funny when someone gets hurt?

I fell down the stairs once at my apartment complex. The first thing I did was look around to see if anyone saw what happened.

Sounds like a painful fall. Few weeks ago I fell at work and landed smack on my rear. It bruised my ego more than anything else.

If it's some small injury that will heal up quickly, yes, I usually find it funny.

of course. don't you? it's always funny when somebody else gets hurt (say your friend is wasted and falls down the stairs. you laugh and call him a dumbass). it's never funny when you get hurt, however
