This is purely hypo.

The bad thing: Only very high end PC would have more than 64MB ram to run the sucker.

The bright side: You have a OS which is much less buggy than Win9x.

Have you seen the min specs for XP? I can't quote them here but let me assure you there is no WAY you could run XP on a 1995 standard box, no way.

it would have taken a really long time to compile and the computer probably would have crashed.

What would happen if I invented a time machine and I took my current computer to 1995 and showed myself in 1995 what my computer in 2001 was like? What if I took the technology that my computer from 2001 used and patented it in 1995 before anyone else has even thought of it? Then, what would happen if I used my multimillion dollars that I profited from those patents in 1995 and built a computer in 2001 that is twice as powerfull as the computer I have now that I took back into 1995?

BTW- Isn't this thread a little pointless?

Oh yeah, what if those patents in 1995 that I took from the computer in 2001 where technologically advanced further when 2001 came around again? The newer advaced technology from the computer I would build in the next 2001 would be superior to the computer I originally took back from 2001. Then I would take the more advanced computer from the new 2001 and take it back to 1995 again and meet myself meeting myself showing off my computer from the second 2001 to the me of the original 2001 and the me from 1995. Then, I would patent the newer technology from the more advanced system and the me from the original 2001 would be pennyless due to the fact that my technology would be far more superior and I would make the multimillions of dollars that I would have made anyway, but have a far more advanced computer in the next upcoming 2001.

BTW- Super pointless thread!
