What Would Have Happen If I Ran Two Instances Of Flask Mpeg?

What if i were to encode two dvds at the same time?

I'm using Flask Mpeg w/ the bbmpeg encoder.

anyone know the out come if i do this?

Anyone tried it before?

Check the doom9.org forums I'm sure people have tried that. I wouldn't expect any type of success, unless you have dual CPU's and even then the last time I checked flask wasn't optimized for dual-cpu setups

I've ran two instances of FlaskMpeg to encode two dvd files before (using the avi encoder). It works, but as expected, twice as slow. I never tried it with the bbmpeg encoder, but I think it's worth a shot. Make sure you have enough space and the output files have different names.

i got enough space.. can you say 60gigs?

haha. well. Hmm.. maybe i should try it..

=)
