Bad question, OP. It's not what race the police are, it's what protections they get when they do wrong. POBARs, DA's reluctant to prosecute, grand juries made up of retired police or people who believe police can do no wrong, individual departmental policies outranking the constitution, qualified immunities, inability to directly sue individual cops for their personal wealth, blue walls of silence, and judges treating testi-liar cops as if their sworn word is infallible...THOSE are the issues.

Whenever you have that combination of factors, you are going to attract bad people (the primary, or born, psychopaths). The good people you attract will eventually wash out or become bad too (the secondary, or created, psychopaths).

So when you create a thread that asks "What if the blacks and the Asians have all the power, would the country be more peaceful towards each other?"
No...stop being an idiot for saying when you created the thread--- if it hurts you to bend over so much then perhaps you ought not to comment....start another thread dude....it`s that simple....

The average IQ of the American police force is 104. In fact they specifically exclude people of "high intelligence" i.e., over 120 (those who score above 27 on the officer's intelligence test), which is really just the mean IQ of of Master's Degree holders in the U.S., certainly not genius level.
I thought it was equivalent to a 125 IQ ceiling, but I wasn't saying full scale IQ though:). I said 130 (or maybe they could be 125, but no lower than that) should be the minimum processsing speed and perceptual reasoning indices. To protect individuals from aggression, then cops should have to act accurately on the spot and not have a whole lot of experience.

So like I said before, those with mediocre full scale IQ like 104 (which the verbal IQ is probably higher than 104 with the non-verbal iq much lower) are going to the most moralistic and unable to actually act non-aggressively.

IOW, people with above avg verbal IQ and below avg performance IQ aren't going to question their higher-ups because neither can interpret their verbal knowledge. My grandmother nearly made it to the rank of Colonel in WWII because she never questioned authority and always turned others in; she liked bossing people around and she retained everything she learned (which means high verbal IQ probably in the 91-95th percentile) but was compulsively afraid to lose her job and stolen wages she got from it when she should've been working for a much lower wage and fewer benefits in the less secure private hospitals (but she valued security so much that she couldn't bring herself to produce in non-taxpayer funded institutions and her mother wasn't smart enough to take care of her; in turn, my great grandmother sent her to live in a boarding home before my grandmother was 5 and spent at least half of her own earnings doing so).

My mom and all of her 4 siblings are the same way as my grandmother. I am too much like them. We're like little George Washingtons. We're Generalissimos. None of us got my grandfather's sociability, his histrionic traits, his ability to forgive and forget old harmful knowledge, or his ability to quickly place things where they fit best.

tl;dr the police might benefit themselves from their moderate-high verbal ability; but it would actually be better if they had less knowledge and less vocabulary. Maybe I would've become a cop if I hadn't lost the verbal/retention ability I once had; maybe it is a good thing I've been drugged so much.

I'm not even sure the protections matter much. In general, being a cop is a very attractive job for the type of bully that relies upon the no tattle-telling philosophy to avoid getting in trouble. The badge itself creates instances of legally-allowed assertion of authority over others. Just think about a normal traffic violation. Cops never just pull someone over and give them a ticket. You either get a lecture and a warning, or a lecture and a ticket. That's not to say all cops are bullies (it's also an attractive job for people who want to protect and serve without going to war), but a much higher percentage of bullies will choose to be cops than teachers or nurses.

It would be easier to just not police heavily inner city ghetto areas at all and just let them revert to 3rd world tribalism. Just ring-fence them so their disfunction doesn't spread to better neighborhoods.

You already fenced them off that's what formed the ghettos in the first place

Every black officer I've ever known was far more racist against black civilians than white officers were.

Has only known 2 cops, one black, one white.
Sits in same donut shop as them, considers them eyeballing him. "Knowing them"
Overheard black cop crack a Jayden Smith joke

Why would you select the race of officers? Because the topic is racism.

In that case, you'd just be replacing one set of racists for another.

Then in Monterey it was 1:00 am and I was heading back to the motel I was staying in and was pulled over. The cop asked for ID and all the other document..insurance.....etc. Then he asked me if I had anything to drink. I said no officer. Right away he accused me of slurring my speech. I called him a mother &^%$% and said to him -- tell me I slurred that......
He then pressed the issue and I told him that I was recording this conversation. He gave me back my DL and proof of insurance, etc.......and I head back to my Motel room. The officer was looking for a quick $$$$ stop. You really need to be careful oh...btw -- he was white......

I got pulled over at about 11PM in Monterey once when I kind of chirped the tires heading out from a parking lot (since there were so few breaks in the traffic on Del Monte Blvd and I needed to get out). He was very nice, told me to be more careful pulling onto that road in the future. He was white BTW... and I wasn't an ass. Plus I wasn't a tourist - I actually lived there.
