Ahh...the Onion, the highlight of my Wednesday's. If only it weren't so slow from everybody trying to read the new issues.

Edit: This part is great:

<< Though regretful over the severity of God's punishment, Mideast peace negotiators nonetheless praised Him for coming up with the first-ever viable solution to the ongoing crisis. >>

That is probably the only way to stop those Animals from killing each other.

Speaking of Animals, I wonder what God thinks about us knocking off Sadam and Bin Laden? A couple of welll placed lightening strikes could save us a lot of hassle.

I suspect God will do just we has always done, since the Redemption. Man can do what he wants. He is only interested in the end product. He has something in store for everyone that reaches the Pearly Gates. With the Attonment, all have the oppurtunity in their mortal life to repent and recieve Gods grace. That oppurtunity is extended to every human on earth. God worries about your soul, and wishes for you to return to him after this mortal life. The body is a gift to his fathful spirits who need bodies to attain immortality. There are many more spirits that need mortal bodies. He has made it clear that by following his Son,the Only Begotten, Jesus Christ, those that have a mortal body now need to do things to prepare themselves for that immortality. If they lose their way, hopefully some good soul will bring them back to the path of rightousness. That may be the work of missionaries, or just a good Christian can help the process.

It is an interesting dynamic at work here, and after reading some of the Koran, and being raised a Christian, this is a real battle of dieties. Quite frankly, I do not put any creedence in some malcontent named muhammad that decided 600 years after the death of Christ on the Cross, that those who believed in Christ were to be destroyed. This sounds like one big Jim Bakeresque falsehood and hypocracy from the very onset. It appears that the Islamic clerics whereso afraid of their layity getting any contrary information, that placed a death sentence on anyone who investigated another belief. Talk about brainwashing. My observation is that it only works for uneducated, poor, and downtrodden people who are easily brainwashed, that this so called relegion even has any attraction at all. An educated Islamic at least can see the merit of free expression and democracy. This theocracy is most prevelant in populations that where raised in sand filled wastelands as wanderers, traveling from oasis to oasis, and living by their wit and the sword. It is no wonder they have such little regard for human life.

Western civilizations have had a much better chance in life. I think that I am very lucky to have been born in America at his time. It was truly a gift from God I am extremely grateful for. For the people of Islamic faith to share and prosper with western civilzation in these times, they would have to embrace values that are Chritian based, and for that, they can be killed, according to instruction from their Koran.

But one thing is for sure. Those oil shieks and Arab princes and sultans sure live high on the hog. You don't see them giving in to the Koran, do you? Hell no, they like that life of plenty, while the common people langish in poverty. I consider that unrightous dominion. They conisder it diplomatic license. They do the obigatory daily prayers,as they fly on big jets with naked women in the flying hotub of bubbling champaigne.
