I get a phone call from my dad relaying a message from my aunt for her computer. She says that somehow my little cousin was able to change the orientation on the screen from what it's supposed to be to a 90 degree change. I don't really have the time this weekend to go look at it, so I need some help. Does this sound like a setting on the monitor or is it a video driver?

If its a nvidia baced card, then the problem is in the drivers, theres a tab in the newer drivers that allows you to rotate the screen. Any other make and im stumped. Cos ive only ever owned nvida cards. oh, and one S3 Savage4 32mb PCI.

Just tell her, or you do, to look in the advanced graphics options for rotation settings.
Ive also seen joke programs that do this as well. move the mouse to the top right/left, i think, one of the corners anyway.
i know about these joke programs, cos i used to use them on my school IT teacher. dumb git .lol

You can also do that with ATi cards. I did that once, it didn't change though until after I played a game, so it was extremely difficult to change it back. :)

I just found out that it's a Gateway... so I think it's a POS Intel integrated video setup.
