What would cause this?

What would cause the physical memory module to get quite hot to the touch. Reason being is I put my two memory modules in dual channel mode and it won't get into Windows, it just freezes up. So I go and try to reseat the memory and notice one module is way hotter than the other. What could be causing this?

System is in signature.
 
I'd swap modules between the dimm slot. If the one that WAS cool gets hot in the other dimm slot, I'd suspect a faulty voltage regulator in the mobo (over-volting that one dimm slot).

Just a guess!
 
I figured it out. It was the 1011 final bios I updated my mobo to. I am running the newest beta bios and things are all G.
