What would cause all the pipes in one bathroom to clog?

In our master bath, not only does the toilet clog every other time, but the sinks barely drain and the tub dosen't as well....

Checked for gloopy hair clogs, dont see anything.... Any ideas why one whole room would have trouble draining? They are seperate drainage lines, correct?

Its on the 2nd floor of our townhouse.

More than likely, you have a plug in the main drain from the second floor. You might try one of the liquid drain cleaners first, but it is possible you will have to snake the line to clean it. You can do this through your toilet or, if you can't reach it any other way, by removing your toilet for easier access to the drain.

Good luck.

So the toilet drain and the sink drain meet? Nasty :D

They sure do. Along with the tub drain. Eventually, all of the drains meet.

Of course, if they are working properly, the water etc. flows down the drain, so it doesn't make much difference.

You are not supposed to go in the sink when the toilet is clogged.

Taco Bell Grande Meal washed down with a 64oz coffee.

Seriously though, what Midlander said. I had this happen to me at my old apartment. Had to remove toilet and rent a heavy-duty electric snake. Previous tenant had been flushing..uh...feminine products.
