What would buy for future builds 1080ti or 2080ti?

I guess the ques has to do with future games like will ray tracing in games become more avail that you wish spent the extra coin?

Or would rather same the coin for the next NVIDIA graphics card to come along?

What other specs does the 2080ti have over 1080ti that you really want on need?
