Like an independent version of Chipotle or Subway...

SUper simple, fresh ingredients, minimum cooking

Just suplies, no rent or employee pay factored in.

That's not unreasonable for a successful fast food franchise. So it depends if you're considering a franchise or not, since they often have somewhat set startup costs/fees. If you're not going franchise, then the costs are usually significantly lower for an independent.

Look on the subway site. It will give you an idea of startup cost. Independent won't be much different.

Also around here at least it isn't hard to pick up the equipment (basically a turnkey store) since many go out of business
