What would be the best way to put records along my wall?

I would like to put records along my wall (between the top of my wall and the ceiling if you can picture that)...I want it to go all the way along and have them side by side. What do you guys think will be the best way to do this?

just get some thumbtacks

Doublesided masking tape? That's the cheap fix that won't damage the covers.....but it will take a lot and be a pain to center just right.
