What would be the best way to punish this woman?

Dress up in a devil costume and put her down with a real pitchfork.

You'd have to get John Lovitts(sp?) to do it.[for those of you how don't know, he played the devil on SNL in the 80's]

A sobbing Laney recounted in a videotape played at her capital murder trial Wednesday how she smashed her sons' skulls with rocks to prove her faith to God.

If "God" wanted me to prove my faith by killing my kids I'd tell him to eat my ass as I farted in his face. As a parent, nothing, NOTHING comes between you and your kids, not moeny, not friends, not other family, and definatly not something that is not tangible and has yet to be proven to exist.

This is like saying Homer Simpson told me to do it.

I'd sat that once they start medicating her and her thinking clears enough to know what she has done that she'll be in a living hell here on earth. The whole thing is so sad in that if she'd told even one person about the voices/thoughts she was having or that if anyone had noticed the signs that accompany a psychotic break of this magnitude
those kids would be alive now.

Judging by the age of her youngest I'm wondering if this started fairly recently?

She was nutzo.

five medical professionals said so. Even on the prosecutors side. She had no clue what she was doing until after she was arrested and heard the testimony of it in court. And that was because she was on anti psychotic drugs. And then she fell apart.

Not trying to excuse her, but there is a difference between what she did and what Susan Smith did.

The insanity defense is BS.

This woman loved her kids enough to home school them, she wasn't some bar running trollop dumping them off/beating them etc.I wonder if she'd suffered from psychosis before or if perhaps it started with the birth of her youngest.I'm also wondering what other signs and symptoms of her illness went ignored by those closest to her.

You don't go from feeling/being perfectly wonderful to hearing the voice of god commanding you to kill without a few other problems along the way, like poor sleep, change in appetite, excessive anxiety, worry or fear, changings in socialization patterns etc.

Since she says she was doing Gods will, only he should be able to judge her.

We need to arrange that meeting in a most expedient mannar.

I see the names "Joshua", "Aaron", and "Luke" and I think "Southern Baptist Trash". Someone should have forseen this happening based on those names.

I can't believe that anyone would want to defend her! I couldn't care less if she is insane, if they were to execute or lock her up for life, she wouldn't be able to do anything bad to anyone else. I don't even beleive that there is a "god". And you Jehova's Witnesses, next time you wanna come to my house, just ask the last two who came. They prolly won't say anything tho, I mean come on, dead people won't say anything, am I right? lol
