What would be the best ISA ethernet card for Linux?

I am having a hard time deciding, and add to that I'm a Linux newbie so I just need a little help here. From what I've learned, it needs to NOT be "jumper-less", and it needs to have a popular chipset that has drivers written for it. Well?

Sorry for not answering your question, but you really don't have a PCI Slot spare?

Well, from my expirience a 3Com 3C509C should do the trick
We had several of them working here in the lab when we had
a 10Mb network...they work fine under linux....
