What would be some major economic innovations

I'm looking to do some research on economic innovations that have occured in the last 10-15 years and I'm trying to get a broad view of what I should be looking at. I'm thinking the significance of online banking is a big one because that has changed so much for millions in the last several years. I dont know if that is too broad or not though.

It just needs to be either a technical innovation or a new process.

Only thing that I can think of is that I need to be able to find some sort of legitimate information to back up what I come up with here.

I dont really know what I want to focus on at all...
I'm just going by the fact that I'm given a very very broad topic that I need to discuss.
