go with some mushkin value memory nice, cheap, and good. overclocking memory is a very general term its the timings that are important whether or not your overclocking. you won't get fantastic timings out of value memory but if your going to run 3-3-3-7 at 200Mhz or something like that i don't suppose it matters much

geil value, corsair value, crucial value, any of the major brands value line are good to use.

i have some geil value ram. a 1gb dual channel kit, rated at PC3200 @ 2.5-4-4-8, it can handle light over clocking nicely and for value ram those timings aint to bad either. and i beleive the new revision of this ram now runs at 2.5-3-3-6

while corsair are good i believe some of thei value ram weighs in with CAS latencies of 3! which in an intel system is abit too high for my liking. if your going athlon 64 though then no worries, A64 couldnt care less about memory timings
