What would be a good gaming PCI vidcard?

My kid has a Dell 2400 that has no AGP slots... all PCI... the onboard video isn't cutting it. Any suggestions would be appreciated... cost isn't a huge concern, but it will make a difference in the decision.

Clarifications: Not talking about really serious 100 fps gaming here... stuff like Diablo II and FPS games... if it can handle stuff like Rainbox 6 I guess that's about the extent of the sophistication of the games he's going to be playing will be. The Dell has a standard sized case... not like the Optiplex clamshell that I have that needed a lowprofile card and bracket. DVI is not required.

any crad that you can get for PCI is not good for gaming. though it will be much better than onboard, it still may not be playable. what kind of games? simple kids games could probably run ok. depends.
you could probably do much better buying a new mobo, and video card. but that is a lot more work, and a good chunk more money, and maybe not even really wise depending on the processor.
 
how much space is in your dell, you might need a low profile card which would make it even more difficult

but yeah no pci card is worth it unless for casual gaming
 
Okay... added some clarifications... full sized card is fine, not talking about really demanding or sophisticated games here... the most recent game he was playing was Deus X II... and it wouldn't even run on the onboard Intel video...
